I'd just heard that you were part of the group that went into the store a few months ago.

I wanted to know what to expect when I go in again.

That's pretty much what I heard. What happened when you guys went in?

[ This isn't exactly easy for Noire to discuss, so she's hesitant between words. ]

... My mother attacked us, so I... had to kill her before she murdered anyone. Then we lost Masaomi, even though he was the one who made me move in the first place... and Beast Boy lost the ability to hear us or see us for awhile.

Your...mother? Was she already in Haven when that happened?

[Or did the store drag her here just for that?]

She wasn't. Beast Boy kept reminding us everything wasn't real, but the memories are solid ones... real or not, they can still kill you.

So the store…reads your memories and throws anything it wants at you.

[This might be even harder than she thought it would be, but she’s not backing out now.]

How far inside did you guys get? And what did you see?

Er... we got all the way through, actually, but you'll need to be able to convince the store that you're on its side... Beast Boy managed to make it think he was Kite. And the other side had this... very large, spiral... city, you'd call it? But we were killed before we could see much else.

Convince the store... do you think illusions are going to work?

[But it's the second part that makes her really pause.]

There's a city inside? So it does lead somewhere!

Mm, it does, but you'll have a hard time getting much further, unless you're prepared to fight immediately.

[Bummer. But she should have expected that.]

Were they guards in the city when you guys got up close?

There were. We didn't last for more than a few seconds.

[Yikes. Korra winces, pauses, then continues.]

Did you...get a good look at the guards? If we get this far again, we'll probably have to face them.
