[This comes significantly after male Morgan's extremely sketch breaking into of Noire's room. In fact, it comes in the evening, because female Morgan has some understanding of relationships and doesn't want to stop male Morgan and Noire from having their Moment.

But now she's lurking outside Noire's door.

[ She'll answer, and if she's still a little... frazzled, from earlier activities, well. ]

... Morgan? Is something the-- no, you're smiling...

Of course I'm smiling!

[And she's going to just fling her arms around Noire and half-hug, half-tackle her.]

You don't have Morgan in your room, right? I don't want to interrupt.

N-no, he left-- [ and then she blinks, even as she instinctively rocks back to try and keep them both steady. ] You remembered too?!

[ Noire, you're bad at this. ]

Noire, you're so bad at this!

[ahahaha...

But she just beams, nodding, and then presents Noire with her presents--which are wrapped in a makeshift bag of some questionable material.]

Of course I did! You're my best friend!

[Inside she will find a can of pear halves (which she has been saving and found forever ago) and, miracle of all miracles, a small container of milk. It was like heaven smiled on her. Or maybe she got lucky for once.]

[ ... Oh no, her heart. Once she gets through the questionable material, Noire's eyes widen. ]

This couldn't have been easy to find... Morgan, you're amazing!

[ MILK... ]

[Well... Morgan's about as frank as can be, so quite honestly--]

Actually, I think I finally just got lucky. I've never found anything like that before in all of these months and months and months and then there it was!

[hee hee hee.]

But I figured that you're the sort of person who can do a lot with milk, so there you go! Happy birthday!

I can definitely try baking something...

[ and there she goes, already pondering something delicious. ]

[That's...yeah that's a very noire thing.]

Just decide pretty quickly, since I don't know how long it was sitting out there, and it'd be a shame if it went bad.

So Noire, how does it feel to be a year older in a place like this?

Sort of strange... [ and she's actually pondering the feeling. ] I don't feel as though I've really been here that long.

[Morgan considers that thoughtfully, before shaking her head.]

For me, it feels like we've been here for aaaaages--but at the same time, I suppose the time has gone sort of fast, right?

Well, a lot has happened... but before you know it, it's another day. Something like that?

[She pauses, and then nods slowly.]

In fact, I remember more about Haven than I do about back home! Isn't that amazing?

... We really need to give you a lot of memories when we return.

When I get all of my memories back, I suppose it'll all be back in proper proportion, ha ha!

[She still thinks she will...somehow...]

But that's not important today! What's important today is that it's your birthday! Should I sing? Did Morgan sing?

He-- [ initiated a lot of kisses, actually, so she's just going to cough a bit. ] Um, no, he didn't, but you don't have to--

[She just blinks at Noire blankly, so innocent.

So if he didn't sing to you, what did he do for your birthday?

O-oh! Um, I can show you, actually... if you'd like?

[yeah don't show her all of it, he might get jealous]

Hold on-- [ She's got to duck in and find it, now carefully placed atop her stand, and then she'll return and present it to Morgan-- her little jar vase with the paper roses. ]

He made this himself, actually...

[She blinks at it--and then her expression melts into a quieter smile, because wow, that's...that's precious.]

Wow, those are so pretty!

He's adorable, isn't he? I suppose he's a good match for you after all.

You weren't still worried about that, were you? B-because he really is wonderful and caring and--

[ she's so smitten it hurts. ]

I... I do really like him a lot, but I'm not sure if-- I've never been in love before...

[ she's had crushes and she's loved people, but... she's not sure how to explain it. ]
