"H... hello? Um, this is me-- ah, Noire! I'm Noire, and I'm very sorry for missing you somehow... I promise I'm not avoiding you, unless you're scary or you're Mo-- trying to curse me. Good.

[ He gives her a pleased smile and shifts both hands to gently... squish her cheeks. ]

You're really cute, Noire.

[ Morgan, why. ]

I-- thank you, but I still don't really... understand how you'd think that--

[ He chuckles, having expected an answer like that. His fingers move back into her hair and begin to scratch lightly. ]

I don't suppose you would. But cuteness isn't really meant to be understood, I think! It just is.

[ There's a light shiver that runs through her, and then she'll lower her head to rest her forehead against his collarbone, sighing out a quiet, approving noise. ]

It's somewhat hard to respond to, though... [ nngh that feels good. ]

[ Ohoho. He grins and carries on, fingers tangling in her hair at their own luxurious pace. ]

I can think of a way or two to shut me up when you're not sure what to say.

[ Morgan, could you stop turning her into putty for like a minute-- ]

... One involves kissing, doesn't it?

[ but why would he ]

You're catching on! ... And I haven't thought about the other way yet. But I could!

[ Once his mind gets off this very singular track. ]

I think I saw Inigo kissing his pillow once, but it might've been my imagination... anyway, that's great news!

[ He begins to sit up. ]

No, that... sounds like him.

[ But she'll move back, a tad regretfully. She'll miss the hair spoiling. ]

[ All in good time...

But for now he'll halt her by the waist before she can get too far. And he'll lean in close with his renewed maneuverability, very much a space invader. ]

I guess I should count my blessings... and use them to their full potential, hm?

[ ... what has she unleashed here. ]

If that means you don't have to kiss a pillow...

With that gentle approval, he smiles and leans in to meet her lips at a more reasonable speed than his last attempt, careful to get the angle just right. It doesn't feel quite as clumsy now -- and it probably helps that he's feeling a lot more patient this time around too. ]

[ It's almost more embarrassing when she has to think about it, but she can appreciate the consideration. She still finds plenty of warmth in a kiss this careful, and the gentleness has her leaving a faint sigh against his lips before she tentatively parts her own to kiss him a little more firmly. ]

[ Hehe... even her sighs are cute, though this one in particular leaves a funny little buzz in his head. But it isn't unpleasant in the least. He follows her cue and answers in kind, giving this parted lip thing another go. One hand finds its way to her jaw and traces its way back, trying to gauge her more than just through her mouth.

Not that he has any problem with her mouth or her lips, which he will kiss again and again quite gladly, experimentally, working up a gentle rhythm and trying to get it a little more right with each try. ]

[ It's nothing sort of a miracle that Noire hasn't overheated and expired from it, but there's no denying that she's much, much warmer than usual. All of this is still so new, and every gentle movement of his hand and the coaxing motion of his lips makes her melt a little more; there's that shiver when his fingers brush closer to her neck.

Really, she ought to have expected this. Morgan was a genius tactician; he always worked hard at everything he tried until he could say he'd proudly mastered it, and it's that earnestness that had drawn her to him in the first place, and what makes her try now, to keep up. She wants to make this just as good for him, and soon enough, she'll get the rhythm. ]

[ Kissing is a skill to practice and perfect like any other, except for the part where it takes two people to do it. It's a little different, then, to have his pace so completely tied to hers. But when he can feel her trying just as hard to improve, kiss for kiss, meeting the challenge with every bit of willingness to match, it's twice as exciting and thrice as gratifying.

He hums happily as they finally settle into something a little more comfortable. Bit by bit he thinks less about how he can make it better and feels more of the softness of her lips, the delicate play of each touch. It's so very easy to get lost in the details; before long, he hardly notices that each effort is getting a little bit longer, a little bit deeper, lingering in appreciation of the moment. ]

[ She's not accustomed to any form of luxury, and she can only describe Morgan's kisses like that-- something slow and lingering, something to sink into, and it's almost too good for her to deserve, but she has absolutely no desire to pull away.

And also absolutely no clue what to do with her hands, as they've been resting on her thighs for some time now. After a minute, one will drift up to trace the lines of his face, along a cheekbone, down near his jaw, back up to push her fingers into his hair, to guide him closer as she shifts towards him.

She'll be kicking herself for awhile as to why she hadn't kissed him a lot earlier, but for now, she's fine with making soft, contented noises in her throat when he comes back for another round. ]

[ All of that touching in sensitive areas is making him a little dizzy... but it's probably his just desserts. He follows the slow trace of her hand's path, entranced. And then he's all too willing to comply with the gentle suggestion of her hand in his hair, a little thrill shooting through him as he scoots closer in kind and leans forward until he's almost flush against her.

... And if his kisses get a little more heated and he a little more breathless, he'll blame it right on her. ]

[ It's not her fault that he's got her so thoroughly distracted by his mouth and his warmth and his proximity and his-- everything. He's always been skilled at making her heart pound hard enough to hurt, but this is something entirely different. It's hot and almost too overwhelming, but in a way she'd rather not pull back from.

... Until one particular heated kiss draws a very small moan from her.

And Noire jerks back, mortified, because what was that embarrassing noise-- ]

[ wait no no

When she draws away without warning, he looks at her with an urgent sort of confusion, breathing heavily and sporting a serious case of tomato face. It takes a second to register that she's probably embarrassed over-- ]

Th-that's okay.

[ That was okay. That was okay. ]

[ well no, it's hardly okay, and that's why she's burying her face in her hands. She could die right now. ]
